Cathi Erb
Owner
Cathi Erb is the owner of My Dog's Care Center, and is shown with her German Shepherd Dogs, Indie and Sully. Cathi formed My Dog's Beauty Shop in 2006 as a home-based grooming business. With thanks to God for his grace and direction along with her loyal client base, she was able to purchase a commercial building in 2013. This enabled her to better meet the needs of her clients by providing additional space to add daycare and boarding. The name may have changed to My Dog’s Care Center but the goals have not changed since the inception of the business. They are to provide home-like care and exceed industry standards, offer 24/7 on-sight monitoring and employ a blended team of educated dog lovers to help. The My Dog family takes pride in caring for dogs differently than their competitors.
Mary
Grooming Manager
Mary (Grooming Manager and Senior Team Leader) pictured with her German Shepherd Dogs, Bree and Blaze. Mary has been part of the My Dog family for many years and is truly an integral part of the business. She can be seen in the grooming room, at the front desk and helping in the main office. Her soft spoken personality seems to connect with dogs that are uncomfortable being groomed. Mary is a blessing to every department she works in, as long as she can be with dogs!
Amy
Communications Manager
Amy with her Miniature Poodle, Stanley Bob and Lab Mix, Lizzie Sue. Amy has a strong background in both customer support and marketing. Her outstanding attitude and fun personality make her a pleasure to work with. Dogs respond to sincerity and with Amy's work ethic and versatility she is able to assist Care Team when needed to help with the dogs in our care. She is a creative force and a great asset to the My Dog family.
Hillary
Care Team Manager
Hillary (Care Team Manager) pictured with her dogs Orion and Athena (Siberian Huskies). Hillary had nearly a decade of kennel experience prior to joining the My Dog family. She has a beautiful, calm energy and non-threatening persona that allow her to effectively care for dogs of many personalities and play styles. Her experience, knowledge in the industry and genuine love for dogs are of great value to the team. You can rest assured that your dog will be cared for properly when in the care of Hillary and our Care Team.
Debbie
Business Operations Administrator
Debbie is lovingly being kissed by Bella, her rescue Dalmatian. She has been with My Dog’s Care Center since 2016, beginning part-time as a bookkeeper. With ongoing training, Deb now holds the title of Business Operations Administrator, performing the duties required by our back office, along with the Human Resource needs of the company. Deb earned both a degree in Theology & Women’s Studies along with a Paralegal Certificate before working closely with a CPA to learn the essentials of accounting. Deb has an innate ability to work well with a variety of age and personality types. With her strong beliefs, amazing work ethic and easy going personality it’s not a wonder that Debbie is well liked and respected by the team. We are regularly blessed by Deb’s thoughtfulness toward others while she continues to make a positive impact with the company.
Anthony
Business Technology Manager
Anthony is pictured with his sweet Border Collie Mix named Jade. Anthony joined our team in early 2021 after spending years in the hospitality industry. Providing outstanding service to clients suits Anthony well due to his kind nature and willingness to help. We are thankful he’s been a lifelong dog person as well! As a bonus, his education includes graphic & web design, so his technical assistance is of great benefit to the team!
Valerie
Groomer
Valerie, shown with her 2 Domestic Shorthair Cats, Persephone and Penelope. Val was trained as a professional groomer in the state of Hawaii. She has a gentle personality that helps dogs to relax while she treats them to loving and professional spa treatment. Her experience and great attitude are an asset to our team. She possesses outstanding customer service skills and understands that each dog is unique. We are thankful that she chooses to share her talents with My Dog and its clients.
Megan
Groomer
Megan (Groomer) pictured with her Boxer and Boxer Mix, Ava and Tyson. Megan has several years under her belt as a groomer. She is a great listener and able to help our clients figure out what is best for their dog's grooming needs. Megan always has an upbeat and optimistic attitude, that compliments her infectious smile. Maybe that's why dogs and people respond to her so well. Equally as important, she is an outstanding groomer!
Lauren
Groomer
Lauren joined our team of professional groomers in 2021 and we couldn't be more pleased. We decided that her horse took up too much room in the photo so we kept it small & sweet with her canines, Axel (black Frenchie), Grizwold (red Frenchie), and Patch (Labradoodle). Lauren has a degree in Animal Science and several years under her belt as a dog groomer. However its her kindness and soft disposition that dogs respond to. Lauren is keen on educating our dog parents to keep the pups in her care healthy. Her sincerity shines through outstanding customer service skills, making Lauren the perfect addition to the My Dog family.
Janice
Groomer
Janice is pictured with her dog, a Boykin Spaniel named Stewie! In her home country, Janice helped run her family's farm and gained extensive knowledge about the care of animals. Once moving to the states, she was introduced to grooming in 2014. Janice's knowledge of the proper care for animals along with her professional experience and calm personality will ensure that all our furry friends will receive the best possible care. We are grateful that Janice is sharing her skills and talents with all of us! Rest assured; Janice will give your dog the personalized care with a gentle approach that we proudly provide for all our clients.
Dave
Team Support
Dave (Team Support), pictured with his dog Bandit (Poodle Mix). Dave joined the family business in 2008 as a bather. His friendly and unassuming personality make Dave a pleasure to be around and work with. Currently, Dave splits his time with building maintenance and bathing, although he is always willing to lend a hand wherever is needed. Working with dogs and being the brother of the owner can be labor-intensive and we are always grateful that Dave willingly lends a hand!
Nicole
Care Team Supervisor
Nicole, shown with her Golden Retriever, Cooper. Nicole's love for all things canine led her to join the My Dog family years ago. With canine behavior training Nicole quickly earned the trust of our dogs because of her gentle spirit. She also possesses instinctual knowledge that allows her to understand the dynamic of canine communication, making her a great asset to the Care Team.
Haley, CTDI
Sr Care Team Member/Daycation Coordinator
This is Haley, shown with her fur-baby Border Collie Mix named Jade. Haley graduated from Slippery Rock University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Animal Assisted Intervention. Haley’s love of dogs pushed her to further her education with a focus on dog training. She has recently earned her first certification of many, starting with her Certification for Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI). Haley is great at keeping calm under pressure. When the day doesn't go as it should or when a dog becomes disruptive, Haley is flexible and remains cool in order to make effective changes to accomplish what needs done. Her obvious love for dogs paired with the ability to work in a noisy and demanding department while remaining level headed make Haley an exceptional member of our team. She provides consistent and honest care to the dogs and owners we serve at the Care Center.
