Cathi Erb

Cathi Erb is the owner of My Dog's Care Center, and is shown with her German Shepherd Dogs, Indie and Sully. Cathi formed My Dog's Beauty Shop in 2006 as a home-based grooming business. With thanks to God for his grace and direction along with her loyal client base, she was able to purchase a commercial building in 2013. This enabled her to better meet the needs of her clients by providing additional space to add daycare and boarding. The name may have changed to My Dog’s Care Center but the goals have not changed since the inception of the business. They are to provide home-like care and exceed industry standards, offer 24/7 on-sight monitoring and employ a blended team of educated dog lovers to help. The My Dog family takes pride in caring for dogs differently than their competitors.

Grooming Manager / Senior Team Leader

Mary (Grooming Manager and Senior Team Leader) pictured with her German Shepherd Dogs, Bree and Blaze. Mary has been part of the My Dog family for many years and is truly an integral part of the business. She can be seen in the grooming room, at the front desk and helping in the main office. Her soft spoken personality seems to connect with dogs that are uncomfortable being groomed. Mary is a blessing to every department she works in, as long as she can be with dogs!

Communications Manager

Amy with her Schnauzer/Miniature Pinscher mix, Trixie. She also has a bearded dragon named George who was unable to make the photo shoot! Amy has a strong background in both customer support and marketing. Her outstanding attitude and fun personality make her a pleasure to work with. Dogs respond to sincerity and with Amy's work ethic and versatility she is able to assist Care Team when needed to help with the dogs in our care. She is a creative force and a great asset to the My Dog family.

H.R. and Company Treasurer

Joyce is Cathi and Dave's mom, HR Consultant and Treasurer of My Dog. She is pictured with her Malti-poo named Biscuit. Joyce is retired from a long career in Human Resources and has been selflessly helping build the business since its inception in 2006. Although Joyce is behind the scenes, her love, generosity and experience in many areas are a pillar of the business. She is respected and well-liked by all and we are grateful for her unending and widespread support.

Front Office Manager

Joanie (Front Office Manager) pictured with her dogs Mini and Tala (Mastiff and German Shepherd Dog). Joanie has a wonderfully diverse background in the medical field along with breeding Great Danes, kennel and even prior grooming experience! Her attention to detail, organizational skills, knowledge of dog care and previous experience make her a great asset to the My Dog family.

Care Team Manager

Hillary (Care Team Manager) pictured with her dogs Orion and Athena (Siberian Huskies). Hillary had nearly a decade of kennel experience prior to joining the My Dog family. She has a beautiful, calm energy and non-threatening persona that allow her to effectively care for dogs of many personalities and play styles. Her experience, knowledge in the industry and genuine love for dogs are of great value to the team. You can rest assured that your dog will be cared for properly when in the care of Hillary and our Care Team.

Bathing Team Leader

Dave (Bathing Team Leader), pictured with his dog Buddy (Miniature Schnauzer). Dave started in 2008 as a bather and continues to selflessly contribute his assistance to any team that needs help. His friendly and unassuming personality make Dave a pleasure to be around and work with. He rarely encounters resistance from the dogs because he is gentle and they instinctively know that he won't hurt them. Working with dogs and being the brother of the owner can be labor-intensive and we are always grateful that Dave willingly lends a hand!

Valerie, shown with her prior foster dog Sam. Val was trained as a professional groomer in the state of Hawaii. She has a gentle personality that helps dogs to relax while she treats them to loving and professional spa treatment. Her experience and great attitude are an asset to our team. She possesses outstanding customer service skills and understands that each dog is unique. We are thankful that she chooses to share her talents with My Dog and its clients.

Megan (Groomer) pictured with her Boxer and Boxer Mix, Ava and Tyson. Megan has several years under her belt as a groomer. She is a great listener and able to help our clients figure out what is best for their dog's grooming needs. Megan always has an upbeat and optimistic attitude, that compliments her infectious smile. Maybe that's why dogs and people respond to her so well. Equally as important, she is an outstanding groomer!

Erika (Groomer) shown with two of her fur babies Ammo and Popcorn. Erika comes to us with multiple years of grooming experience. She was formally trained through Animal Behavior College and completed the required hours of training via mentorship. Her love of animal care started at a young age, but it was not until adulthood that she knew exactly what she wanted in life. Her love of grooming was sparked when she shadowed one of Popcorn’s grooms. Her passion and creativity shine through with every pass of her comb and snip of her scissors. We are blessed to have Erika as part of our team.

Daycare Supervisor

Jenna is our Care Team Leader and is shown with three of her fur babies Todd an American Spitz/Husky Mix, Rocko a Pitbull, and Maple a Pitbull Mix. Not shown is Beanie a Pitbull/Jack Russell Mix, who decided that she is too cool to be online. Jenna has been with My Dog since 2018. She brought with her ample prior experiences from working with a dog rescue organization and dog daycare facility. Jenna has a strong and quiet presence that the dogs respond to in an amazing way. Her attention to making sure every dog is cared for as an individual with specific needs is made possible ultimately by her sincere love of dogs and is helped by her experience and common sense approach to their care.

Care Team Leader

Our Care Team Leader Nicole is shown with her Golden Retriever Cooper. She brings previous leadership experience to our company, but it is her love of canines that brought her to My Dog. Nicole has been learning the trade secrets through hands-on training in addition to the canine behavior training and educational seminars provided by My Dog. Nicole has natural instinctual knowledge that is a great asset to the team!

Front Office and Enrichment Coordinator

Emily (Front Office and Enrichment Coordinator) is pictured with her Bernese Mountain Dogs (Bailey & Millie) and poodles (Sadie & Ferdie). Emily has prior experience working at dog care facilities in the south and brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to the Care Center. Since joining MDCC Emily has been a tremendous asset to our team. It seems she has been a part of our family for many years. With a BA in Sociology, a concentration in Health & Well-Being, a double minor in Psychology and Health and Human Services, it is only fitting that Emily plays a vital role in developing and coordinating our Enrichment Program! Along with her experience and education, Emily's personality and knowledge base help make this program the success it is. We are in deep gratitude that she has chosen My Dog to share her talents with.

Thor loves going to daycare 3 times a week. It is a wonderful place and the dogs are socialized and handled, which is great for a young pup. I totally recommend this facility.

Meg N.

Our Blaze does the "happy butt wiggle" she reserves for family members when she comes to My Dog and the caring employees who treat her so well. Great to have this place close by.

Joshua S.

My family's dog absolutely loves this place and it's workers. He's actually become a much nicer dog since spending time there. They take great care of him and there's never a need to worry about him when traveling. I've recommended this place to a few other people as well.
